Business Casual by Tiffany X JingYi
In honor of our school's networking event, we decided to dress up to go along the business casual theme. We have all struggled to conform to dress codes, especially the ones that mix and match two styles. For this occasion, we decided to put together two different outfits, one more on the casual side and the other, more professional.

As for the event, I was able to meet professionals from the two fields in which I am interested. They answered my never-ending questions and gave me a lot of advice that would definitely be useful in the future. P.S. We also had amazing drinks and food, which made the whole night even better!
Now, time to pass it over to my style inspiration (I want her closet) and friend JingYi. You can follow her on Instagram here!

Now, those who know me are well aware that I have a thing for trench coats, not only because your outfit can somewhat look put together (and yet have put very little effort into it), but also because it is made out of a waterproof material, perfect for a rainy season. In honor of my college's annual networking event, I decided to wear a white blouse with a leaf print on it, a compromise between a formal and a casual attire. To top it off, I threw a black blazer on my shoulders, which, with the navy pants, put together the whole outfit. Also, instead of wearing high heels and kill my feet at school, I opted for ankle boots, which is waaaay more comfortable for walking around school all-day and perfect for the season.
A pleasure to share this with you; I sincerely hope you enjoyed it too. Stay beautiful fashionistas! x

Back to School
When people talk about back to school fashion, we immediately think about the word "plaid". We all incorporated this pattern in our outfits differently.
Tiffany
For back to school season, I decided to go for a comfortable outfit that could adapt to any temperature. I paired a simple black t-shirt with a knit skirt and threw a cardigan on top of it. Like this, if it gets chilly, you will be cozy and warm in your cardigan, but if it gets warmer, you can take it off and not die of heat. And of course, I had to go with slip-on shoes because they are so easy to put on, which is really useful for those mornings where you are running late. Last but not least, the most important thing that you need when you go to school is a school bag. I chose this one because the black and white can go with any outfit and it is also convenient when you have other fancier activities after school (date, shopping, meeting, work, etc) so you can attend without changing bags.

For my outfit, I decided to go with a simple and comfortable outfit. I'm wearing a black tank top and leggings paired with a plaid shirt to add some colour and keep me warm if it gets windy. For accessories, I'm wearing mirrored sunglasses and a Kanken backpack which may look small, but can surprisingly hold a lot of stuff.

To go back to school in style, I decided to focus my outfit around my short checkered dress. To make it more school appropriate, I decided to add a white shirt under it. I threw a necklace on top to make the outfit look cute but also elegant. All of this paired with a pair of comfortable sneakers to run between classes and a colourful backpack to alleviate my mood before I get buried under huge stacks of books.

Travel Bag Essentials by Jessica
For the past month or so, I've been travelling through Asia (travel post coming soon!) and have had my fair share of flights. I definitely do not miss spending hours sitting in a tiny chair in a vehicle packed with people, but flying is a necessary evil. So here's what I carry in my bag to make the ride slightly more enjoyable.
1.Sunscreen
Yes, sunscreen. Although you're not spending your time outdoors, you're still exposed to sun rays trough portholes and should protect your skin from premature wrinkles and skin cancer. Despite being pretty light, this sunscreen from Beauty By Earth contains lots of oils and can double as a moisturizer in the drying airplane air.
2.Headphones
Headphones are definitely a must when flying. They're the perfect solution to wailing babies and annoying neighbours. They also come in handy for watching movies.
3.Pen
This is probably the most important thing in my bag. You'll need them to fill entry cards. (or to play tic tac toe)
4.Glasses
A tip for you nearsighted gals (or guys): do not wear contacts on flights. Dry air and contacts just don't go together. Plus, you don't want to take nap and wake up with itchy eyes.
5.Portable Charger
I always carry one with me because what's worse than being stuck on a plane with a dead phone? This one from Pisen carries me through multiple charges.
6.Laptop
Since I struggle to fall asleep on planes, I like to carry my laptop with me to work on assignments or to watch movies. (laptop skin from here)
And last but not least, I carry it all in this tote from Aldo.
Have a safe flight!

Museum Getaway by Tiffany
After my finals, my brain was so dead. I wanted to go to somewhere that was quiet and that was not the library (it was my second home for a whole week so...) Since the Fine Arts Museum had an exhibition, I decided to go check it out.
The decoration was so aesthetically pleasing and everything was minimalist, The main colors were white and light blue. Even though it was one of those rare sunny days in Montreal, I decided to spend my day inside.
The atmosphere was so welcoming. Everywhere was clean and quiet. Slowly walking through the rooms and hallways while listening to music was really refreshing, especially with the last days spent sitting and studying. I learned a lot about art styles and history looking at the sculptures and paintings. It was a really fun type of learning compared to reading notes and listening to lectures in class.
Even when I was tired of walking, I would just sit on a couch in the middle of a room full of ancient paintings and stare at them while taking a rest. The museum was so big and I did not have the time to explore every single room, but I will definitely go again.
After this day, I felt so relieved and even stopped worrying about my upcoming final grades for a while. I never thought that walking in a museum would be so therapeutic, maybe even more than my shopping sprees...
