Vegan Restaurant Review: LOV by Jessica
With the number of vegans on the rise, Tiffany and I decided to give this lifestyle a try by visiting LOV, a vegan restaurant located in Old Montreal.
As we stepped into the restaurant, we fell in love with its minimalist design and super comfy hanging chairs.
The menu offered a large variety of vegan dishes. LOV definitely has something for everyone as they serve everything from vegan poutine to healthy salads.
We ended our meal on a sweet note with a nice cup of vegan matcha latte.
I would definitely recommend LOV to anyone wanting to give vegan food a try. It's a really trendy restaurant and the perfect place to catch up with your girlfriends.

What's In My Crossbody Bag by Tiffany
I love looking at people's bag content and see what tips&tricks they have to maximize space and convenience so I decided to share my own in this post!
So first and foremost is the bag itself. I love carrying this small and light crossbody bag from Spring with me when I go out. It is super versatile because it can also become a clutch if you remove the gold chain. The black and gold detailing compliment any outfit and it is super easy to accessorize around it. Gold jewelry is the way to go! The bag also contains a cardholder slot where I can put my bank card, credit card and some cash so I do not need to bring my heavy wallet, which is super practical!
Now, moving on to what I put inside. Obviously, my phone, also known as MY LIFE, has to be in this bag. It is an IPhone 6 and its cover is from NUNUCO. It has the cutest pattern and makes me SO ready for spring. I seriously cannot wait.
As for accessories, I never have time to put them on so I like to have a few dainty pieces in my bag just in case. Here, I have some gold rings that I got from ALDO to match with my bag and a gorgeous leather charm bracelet from La Maison Du Carat. To compliment that, I like to add a classic watch to add some statement to my "arm candy". This black and gold one, which also matches my bag, is from The Fifth Watches. I also manage to always have a pair of sunglasses just in case there is a blazing sun outside.
And finally, lipsticks. My go-to makeup item has always been a bright and bold lipstick because I feel like it puts the whole look together. Here, I have some of my favorite ones from Kylie Cosmetics and L'Oreal. I also like to bring a lipbalm in my purse too!

Travel Bag Essentials by Jessica
For the past month or so, I've been travelling through Asia (travel post coming soon!) and have had my fair share of flights. I definitely do not miss spending hours sitting in a tiny chair in a vehicle packed with people, but flying is a necessary evil. So here's what I carry in my bag to make the ride slightly more enjoyable.
1.Sunscreen
Yes, sunscreen. Although you're not spending your time outdoors, you're still exposed to sun rays trough portholes and should protect your skin from premature wrinkles and skin cancer. Despite being pretty light, this sunscreen from Beauty By Earth contains lots of oils and can double as a moisturizer in the drying airplane air.
2.Headphones
Headphones are definitely a must when flying. They're the perfect solution to wailing babies and annoying neighbours. They also come in handy for watching movies.
3.Pen
This is probably the most important thing in my bag. You'll need them to fill entry cards. (or to play tic tac toe)
4.Glasses
A tip for you nearsighted gals (or guys): do not wear contacts on flights. Dry air and contacts just don't go together. Plus, you don't want to take nap and wake up with itchy eyes.
5.Portable Charger
I always carry one with me because what's worse than being stuck on a plane with a dead phone? This one from Pisen carries me through multiple charges.
6.Laptop
Since I struggle to fall asleep on planes, I like to carry my laptop with me to work on assignments or to watch movies. (laptop skin from here)
And last but not least, I carry it all in this tote from Aldo.
Have a safe flight!

Museum Getaway by Tiffany
After my finals, my brain was so dead. I wanted to go to somewhere that was quiet and that was not the library (it was my second home for a whole week so...) Since the Fine Arts Museum had an exhibition, I decided to go check it out.
The decoration was so aesthetically pleasing and everything was minimalist, The main colors were white and light blue. Even though it was one of those rare sunny days in Montreal, I decided to spend my day inside.
The atmosphere was so welcoming. Everywhere was clean and quiet. Slowly walking through the rooms and hallways while listening to music was really refreshing, especially with the last days spent sitting and studying. I learned a lot about art styles and history looking at the sculptures and paintings. It was a really fun type of learning compared to reading notes and listening to lectures in class.
Even when I was tired of walking, I would just sit on a couch in the middle of a room full of ancient paintings and stare at them while taking a rest. The museum was so big and I did not have the time to explore every single room, but I will definitely go again.
After this day, I felt so relieved and even stopped worrying about my upcoming final grades for a while. I never thought that walking in a museum would be so therapeutic, maybe even more than my shopping sprees...

You know November is over when the yellow leaves on the ground start to turn white...
Here are our favorites of the month
Products from left to right:
SHISEIDO INSTANT EYE AND LIPS MAKEUP REMOVER
This makeup remover has been my all time favorite. It is very gentle and removes instantly my makeup, even if it's waterproof. Also, it smells reaaaallyy good and the scent lingers after.
Rating : 9/10

MAYBELLINE PUMP UP WATERPROOF MASCARA
It's not new product, but I only discovered it recently. It makes my lashes visible, it's very easy to apply, and doesn't clump. My only problem is that after a few hours, it smudges on my lower eyelashes... Overall, it's still a good everyday use mascara, for school or for work.
Rating: 8/10
CLINIQUE TAKE OFF THE DAY BEAUTY BALM
I love to use this product after uremoving my makeup, it's goes smoothly on the skin and cleans my skin perfectly, without clogging my pores or breaking me out.
Rating: 9/10
EOS IN BLUEBERRY (FROM THE DISNEY COLLECTION)
This limited edition lip balm has been with me for quite a few months and now it's the perfect time to use it. The weather is getting colder and my lips are getting dryer, so I always bring it with me and apply it whenever my lips get dry. It can be used for a long time so it's a little purchase that is definitely worth it. And it smells like blueberries!
Rating : 9/10
BATH AND BODY WORKS HAND SANITIZER IN BERRY SWIRL
3 words to describe his hand sanitizer: owl and berries.
Rating: 10/10
ESTEE LAUDER MASCARA
This mascara has been my favorite this month. It has two functions. One side is a lash primer, it's a full treatment mascara. It really made my lashes smoother. Then, the other side is a bold black mascara, it gives volume and lifts your lashes. I love this combination of a primer and a mascara because it saves more space and more time.
Rating : 9/10
SMITH'ROSEBUD SALVE
I mostly use it to hydrate my lips, but I can also use it to moisturize my hands and dry patches on my skin. A really goo multitasking product!
Rating: 10/10
TARTE BLUSH IN GLISTEN
It's a really pretty berry red color with a hint of glitters, perfect for everyday use. It's easy to apply and gives off a pretty finish.
Rating: 9/10
LOREAL LUMI MAGIC FONDATION IN W3 NUDE BEIGE
This foundation didn't break me out as much as the others, since I have extremely sensitive skin. Also, there are a lot of shades available. I just think that I might have not gotten the good shade...
Rating: 8/10
BIOTHERM EYE CREAM
As I stated previously, I have very sensitive skin and tend to react to a lot of products. I always used to have dry patches under my eyes when I put concealer on and this eye cream helped me a lot to hydrate my under eyes.
Rating: 10/10
NEUTROGENA CONCEALER
It's a very light coverage concealer, made for dark cercles. It breaks me out sometimes, but it's not as bad as others.
Rating: 8/10
